NFRT Game of the Week

Wolcott @ Torrington is going to be the best match up we see this week. Two very evenly paired teams in my book. Wolcott has shown improvement but has not come close to playing with the big boys. Torrington is better than their record shows and they play teams hard. Stay tuned for my Week #6 picks. I'm looking forward to hearing from you guys too.

This will be an odd game as both teams run similar off and def. I believe one team wins big here. AS they are both about to burst onto the scene. I beleive Wolcott has more of an advantage seeing that Coach Russo has had more than a year to put in his system and Coach Dunaj has only been at THS for about 5 months. Wolcott is stronger and more physical.

Wolcott 28-7

Sorry about the late picks this week.

Ansonia @ Holy Cross
Something tells me Croce knew he was leaving a sinking ship. Ansonia by 1 or 1000, does it really matter.

Crosby @ Naugy
The game of the puppies should be close for a while. Crosby will pull away because the hounds are bad. Crosby 40 Naugy 13.

Kennedy @ Seymour
Osiecki, I mean Seymour by 20.

Wolcott @ Torrington
I like this game alot. Wolcott can't win against the big boys and by all means should win this game. However, Dunaj has more coaching ability than the entire Wolcott staff. I'm giving the Raiders thia one 27-21.

Woodland @ Wilby
By all means this should be a win for the Hawks. If they can stop giving up the big plays, thay should be able to win this easily. Hawks 35 Wildcats 12.
